Doing Great

Amanda's doctors said this morning that she is doing extremely well. She has been moved out of the highest risk ICU to a lower risk ICU. She has been moving her right hand, a great sign that there may not be any right side loss at all. Susan got plenty of sleep last night and is ready to take on the next 4-5 days.

Thanks to all for your prayers and support. God has made many things come together in a short time!

Dana

Dear Susan and Dan,
I know your time is so precious, and you attention needs to be on Amanda's care, and recovery. I found out about an article in a class the other night, I thought you may like to see. The article is: "Reading Your Baby's Mind
New research on infants finally begins to answer the question: what's going on in there?" Newsweek, August 15, 2005.
The direct web address is: http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/8852928
It is interesting, informative, positive, research, that is really trying to look at the way babies think. I think you will like it.

My very best wishes always. I am truly happy for all of you!
Karoline

ps. If you want the article, but cannot get it, please let me know and I will send it to you. k

Susan and Dan,

I am grateful to read the updates and to learn of Friday's surgery. I continue to be praying for you - just yesterday I drove by Raleigh Neurology which immediately brought you to mind. May God bless as you take one step at a time.
