In a regular room
Amanda has been sleeping a lot in the regular room, allowing Susan and Dan to catch up on their sleep, too. Things are still going very well, and we are hopeful that Amanda will be released from the hospital within a few days.
Our prayer going into this period was for a miracle, and that is exactly what we are seeing. God's glory and goodness are very clear to all of us!

Our thoughts and prayers have been with Amanda and her family since we heard the news from Grandma Pegi. It seems strange to say that (Grandma) as I am a childhood friend of Pegi from Versailles, KY now living in Wilmington. Of course now I am a grandma, too. Where did the years go? I can only imagine your thoughts and feelings during this difficult time. My heart goes out to everyone. Hopefully I can meet Amanda when she returns home. What an adorable child, especially in her birthday picture! Such great news to hear that Amanda with God's grace is doing so well. We will keep her in our prayers.

Those who know Grandma Pegi have had little Amanda in their prayers for some time. Grandma Pegi is always such a giving and loving person to those in need, now it is our time to offer up prayers and thanks to the Almighty for sharing his precious gift - Amanda - with the rest of us. God's speed to Amanda and her parents and extended family
Please know that we are all so happy to hear that all of you are getting some much needed rest. May these next days and weeks bring great healing for little Amanda. May the peace and love of our Lord be with all of you during Amanda's recovery.

Pete and I have been out of town since last Thursday and did not receive any messages from Pegi until we returned (I think my machine ate the first e-mail).
