The First Smile
Amanda smiled for the first time this morning. She seems to be feeling much better, and they may release her on Monday to go to the hotel for a week. Big sister Katie has Aunt Is and Uncle Howie visiting her this weekend in NC.

Dear Dan and Susan,
We posted an earlier comment but it seems to have been lost in cyberspace. In any case we want you and your family to know that we have you on our hearts and in our prayers. Amanda and her family have been added to the most powerful prayer list in Danville, my 90 year-old mother's Sunday school class. We are heartened by Amanda's progress and believe that God will see you all through this trial.
